/var/spool/mail/vmail/に変更してもpostfixがメールを$ HOME/var/spool/mail/vmailに保存するのはなぜですか？

私のメールクライアントは新しい電子メールを検索したので、メールの /var/spool/mail/vmail/trest/Maildir保存場所をその場所に変更しました。それでもメールが来た$HOME/var/spool/mail/vmail/trest/Maildir。パスを変更する方法は/var/spool...？または、電子メールクライアントに確認するように指示する方法は$HOME/...？
