私はVirtualboxでUbuntu 20.04を実行しています。
WineでiTunesを実行してみましたが、iTunesはそのデバイスを検出できませんでした。
さまざまな記事（終了*参照）提案libimobiledevice、fuseなどlibmuxd
次のメッセージが表示されます。

No device found, is it plugged in?
$ sudo ifuse /media/iphone
No device found, is it connected?
If it is make sure that your user has permissions to access the raw usb device.
If you're still having issues try unplugging the device and reconnecting it.
プラグを抜いて再び差し込んでみました。コンピュータを再起動してみました。
同じ結果。
ifuseオプションがありますが、-u, --udid UDID mount specific device by UDID
iPhoneにはSettings > General > Aboutのみがあります。IMEIICCID
