USB経由で外部接続された120 GB SSDを新しいサーバーにインストールしようとしています。 SSDにデータがいっぱいでフォーマットできません。

fstabにドライブを追加してみました。
/dev/sdd1 /mnt/sdd1 ext3 defaults 0 0
動作しませんでした。 UUIDにも交換しました。

mount -no remount,ro /dev/sdd1
mount: /mnt/sdd1 not mounted already, or bad option
それらのどれも仕事がありません。すべてのデータを取得するにはドライブをマウントする必要があります。
