私はi3を搭載したMacbook ProでLinuxを実行していますが、HDMIポートの外部モニタを除いて、すべてがうまく動作します。 xrandr でモニターを表示できますが、xrandr で構成すると、モニターにはまだ「信号なし」と表示されます。
ノートパソコンの画面で時々設定すると、画面はモニターの解像度xrandr --output HDMI-0 --autoに合わせて縮小されますが、外部モニターはまだオンにならないことがあります。
