cgitのSyntax-highlighting.shコマンドを実行して正常に動作することを確認するにはどうすればよいですか？

cgitのインストール時に構文強調表示オプションが正しく機能せず、必要なパラメータがすべてある場合は、コマンドラインで正しく機能することを確認したかったです。

オプションが/etc/cgitrc正しく設定されました。

source-filter=/usr/lib/cgit/filters/syntax-highlighting.sh

たとえば、bashファイルからコマンドを実行するとcssクラスとhighlightspanクラスが出力にありますが、ファイルから/usr/lib/cgit/filters/syntax-highlighting.shを実行するとcssタグとspanタグが表示されます。表示されません。
